Splash No. 117 - Labor Week?
Labor Week?
You know when you have a three day weekend and then lose all sense of the days of the week? I have no idea what day of the week it is today, but since I'm writing this, it must be a Wednesday night. Unfortunately, losing all sense of time and having a busy work week make it difficult to write a newsletter. I'll be back next week, better than ever.
In the meantime, I've read some fun things that I'll recommend:
An article about D2C Brands — these brands are everywhere now, so it's interesting to see their different aspects tied together
An article about trying Master Class — because their ads are everywhere and I've been thinking about getting a subscription
The Four Tendencies Quiz — this is an interesting quiz that tells you how you respond to internal and external expectations. I'm an Obliger, which means I follow external expectations more than internal expectations. This is why the only time I write is for a weekly newsletter since I feel like there are external expectations for me to do so. The Four Tendencies are an interesting way to examine your own life.
The fight against systemic racism continues. With each day, we move closer to a more equitable world. Reminders:
